Living through a global pandemic means doing your best to stay home as much as possible. And, while you’re stuck at home, it’s only natural to want to do…something.
Well, Gabrielle Union just did an impromptu photoshoot in her backyard, and her abs look amazing. “Hiiiiiiiii 🦂,” the actress, 48, captioned a new Instagram post with the location, “Quarantine Vibes.”
The L.A.’s Finest star is clearly feeling herself in the pics. And, since she’s wearing a next-level outfit of slouchy trousers, a bikini top, and a gold chain around her waist, who can blame her? It’s also really hard to miss the fact that her core looks ridiculously toned.
“Giving me …I don’t age vibes 😍,” one fan wrote in the comments. “Ohhhh body ody odyyy😍,” another said.

It’s no secret that Gabrielle works hard for that body. She’s been filming workouts for the app FitOn, but she also regularly shares pics and videos on Instagram of herself working out.
Gabrielle previously told Women’s Health that she’s big on doing cardio intervals. “I like to mix it up so I don’t get anxiety staring at the treadmill,” she said. “Cardio could be jumping jacks, running up my driveway, side shuffles like I used to do in basketball, an elliptical, treadmill, or sled pushes.”
But Gabrielle said that she has some “old faithfuls” that she’s been doing her whole life: squats and lunges. “They’ve never really failed,” she added.
Gabrielle said she’s pretty much down to try anything, fitness-wise, but she’s just not into group classes (convenient during a pandemic!). “I’ve tried kickboxing, cardio barre, I’ve tried a SoulCycle class… I’m not a class person,” she previously told WH.
As for that core, Gab previously shared on her Instagram Stories that she does plenty of weighted exercises and planks. In one move, she did an opposite arm/leg extension, where she balances a tissue box on her lower back while doing the whole thing on top of a bench to keep her core tight.
She’s also big on slider crunches, planks, and mountain climbers—all of which will give you some serious abs.
If you’re looking for proof that hard work pays off… it’s safe to say you’ve found it.
