Chrissy Teigen Says She's Getting Her Breast Implants Removed For Several Reasons

  • Chrissy Teigen is getting her breast implants removed.
  • She shared the news after fans questioned why she was getting a COVID-19 test.
  • Chrissy said she’s excited to get her implants removed so she can be more comfortable.

Chrissy Teigen shared earlier this year that she has breast implants. And now, it seems, she’s over them.

In a new Instagram post, Chrissy shared that she’s having her implants removed. “I’m getting my boobs out!” she wrote in the caption of a photo of herself topless in the water. “They’ve been great to me for many years but I’m just over it. I’d like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort!”

Chrissy said that it’s “no biggie” and asked people not to worry about her. “I’ll still have boobs, they’ll just be pure fat,” she said. “Which is all a tit is in the first place. A dumb, miraculous bag of fat.”

Chrissy said she decided to share the news after she posted a video on Twitter of herself getting tested for COVID-19 yesterday. Naturally, people had questions, so she followed that post up with another post that said, “Everyone in LA can get tested for free. I’m having surgery and had to. I’m sorry if this offends you.”

And then, of course, people had more Qs, which led to the Insta post. Whew.

Chrissy opened up about her implants to Glamour UK back in March. “It was more for a swimsuit thing,” she said. “I thought, if I’m going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky! But then you have babies and they fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed.”

“I think you’re supposed to replace [implants] every 10 years,” she continued. “But when you have kids, you think about [the risks] of surgery and I think, ‘This is not the way I want to die, in boob surgery.'” Still, she added, “If I could do one thing, it would be to have a lift.”

Chrissy didn’t offer up any more details about her surgery, but here’s hoping it goes well.
