Kate Hudson, 42, was pretty in pink and so much more in her abs-bearing Met Gala gown Monday night.
The actress and business mogul rocked a two-piece Michael Kors ‘fit to fashion’s biggest event of the year. Kate’s abs were popping in the outfit, which had a bikini-style top, information on allied health medical school a long skirt, and a luxurious fuzzy coat all in a pale pink hue. She captioned the photo with three pink hearts.
Oh, and you can’t miss her brand-new accessory from Danny Fujikawa: Hello engagement ring. The couple shared the news right before she walked the Met steps, and she debuted the sparkling rock IRL.
But, back to those rock-solid abs. Kate has been leveling up her workouts lately, and it shows. She started training withBrian Nguyen, a.k.a. Dragon Master, to wake her bod up. “And that’s exactly what he’s doing,” Kate shared on Instagram about her tough regimen. “And it’s HARD. And it’s every day. I’m basically ‘in season and I love it. Don’t know why I waited so long to push her this hard. Let’s see what shecan do at 42.”
And, Pilates has always been a part of her fitness routine. “I know I’m at my strongest is when I’m doing my Pilates because it never gets easier,” Kate previously told Women’s Health. “The more you do Pilates the harder the things you can do become. I love how flexible I feel and I like what it does to the shape of my body.”

Eating healthy is also a priority for Kate. She previously told Women’s Health she eats a mostly plant-based diet and has around five meals a day. Kate likes to start her day with celery juice. That’s followed up with a protein shake, oatmeal, an acai bowl, or eggs. Her other meals include plenty of veggies, like squash or zucchini noodles. Sometimes, she’ll throw chicken, fish, or steak in there for added protein.
That is how Kate maintains her celestial and super toned bod. Those ring deets are still tbd.
