We’ve seen some truly shocking things on Married At First Sight this season. While past seasons have always delivered on the drama front, this season has gone to incredible lengths to not only stir up drama, but seemingly excuse it, with audiences questioning just how they can continue watching a show that seems to promote such gaslighting, buy online vytorin next day without prescription manipulation, and aggressive behaviour, particularly directed towards women from the MAFS grooms.

But after the final vows were exchanged and some rather disastrous couples stayed together while seemingly good relationships were tossed into the trash, the final dinner reunion promised to unite cast mates once again. And while we thought we’d seen it all as far as MAFS goes, this proved to be even more explosive than anticipated. There was a lot to take in last night, but what seemed to grab everyone’s attention was the Snub Of The Year, whereby Liam entered the premise and said hello to everyone except his ex-wife, Georgia. It was shocking, humiliating, and seemed so childish.

Fans of the series were quick to come to Georgia’s defence and castigate Liam for such poor behaviour, but it seems we aren’t giving Liam the credit he deserves, or the chance to speak his truth. It always goes without saying that there are two sides to every story, and as far as reality TV is concerned, you can’t always trust what you’re being shown.

Prior to that final dinner, the video that left a stain on this entire season of MAFS was broadcast to the world. In it, contestant Jason sits with Georgia and Johnny and takes aim at Georgia’s bisexual groom with gross homophobic language. Jason calls Liam a “110% wanker” and repeatedly calls him “ugly, fat, chubby” and labels him a “full blown homosexual” while the other contestants laugh along in the background. In a recent So Dramatic podcast, host Megan Pustetto even said that she was sent the full Instagram Story and that it was far worse than it appeared.

It was this video that Liam saw before going into the dinner party. He had already told sources close to him that he was “devastated and disgusted” and understandably so, given that Georgia was laughing along with Jason’s disgusting remarks. How then can you judge someone for not giving time to “fake people” when such homophobic comments were made against him, with his “wife” not coming to his defence?

Liam has since taken to social media to share his truth, criticising the edit he received as he said that he was made out to look childish as though he only snubbed Georgia, when the reality was that he arrived and ignored Jason too, sitting down with Pat to explain why and the revelation of the video.

“Tonight was solely based around the video that came out from Georgia, Johnny, Jason. That video was fucking disgusting, and tonight at the dinner party we all went to town. I questioned Jason about the video, I pulled Georgia up from this video,” said Liam. “Georgia sat there and said she was sorry and then I said to her, ‘No, you’re only sorry because you got called out.’”

“To literally sit there and edit this out and make me look like I just walked in there and ignored Georgia for shits and gigs is purely disgusting,” he added. “To make out like I just ignored Georgia…that is not how that night went.”
