Jane Danson health: ‘You never get over it’ Star’s heartbreaking health admission
Jane Danson, 41, made her television debut in 1991 in the series GBH. She later moved to the ITV children’s television drama Children’s Ward, followed by appearances in a variety of shows including Out of Tune, The Grand, Always and Everyone, Emmerdale and The Bill. However, it’s her performance in the top-rated ITV soap Coronation Street that gained her the most notoriety. Jane began her time on the show playing a teenager Leanne Battersby in the family dubbed the “Neighbours from hell.” Jane endured her own hell when she revealed why she won’t have any more children.

Jane believes a heartbreaking miscarriage means her dream of having another baby might not be a reality for her.
Speaking to OK! Magazine with her husband Robert Beck last year, the star bravely said: “Sadly we lost our third child a few years ago, I found out I’d miscarried at the three-month scan.

“It was heartbreaking and it took us a long time to get over it I don’t think you ever do.
“There will always be that sadness there and there’ll always be that desire, but we’re getting older now and the boys are growing up.
“Sometimes you just have to appreciate what you have.”
What is a miscarriage?
The NHS said: “A miscarriage is the loss of a pregnancy during the first 23 weeks.
“They are much more common than most realise, it’s estimated about one in eight pregnancies will end in miscarriage.
“There are probably many reasons why a miscarriage may happen, although the cause is not usually identified.
“The majority are not caused by anything the mother has done. It’s thought most miscarriages are caused by abnormal chromosomes in the baby.
“If a baby has too many or not enough chromosomes, it will not develop properly.”

What are the symptoms of a miscarriage?
The NHS said: “The main sign of a miscarriage is vaginal bleeding, which may be followed by cramping and pain in your lower abdomen.
“If you have vaginal bleeding, contact a GP or your midwife.
“Most GPs can refer you to an early pregnancy unit at your local hospital straight away if necessary.
“If you have the symptoms of a miscarriage, you’ll usually be referred to a hospital for tests.
“In most cases, an ultrasound can determine if you’re having a miscarriage.”
Jane is a mother of two and has been married for 13 years.
She met her husband at her first ever Soap Awards back in 1999 when she was in Emmerdale at the time.
Speaking of her happy marriage, Jane said: “Rob’s absolutely my best friend in the world. We’ve only had about two rows in twenty years.”
A miscarriage can be an emotionally and physically draining experience.
After a miscarriage, a person may have feelings of guilt, shock and anger.
